THE first thing you notice from listening to Michael Jackson's "new" single This Is It is how good his voice sounds - and that makes me wonder exactly how fresh it is.
It doesn't sound much like his later work. His voice is smooth and soulful - youthful even - not as haunted or hushed as it became in his advancing years.
