Blues fans' memories wanted for book
A CALL has gone out today for Ipswich Town fans to get involved with a new book about the football club that is due to come out for Christmas.
A CALL has gone out today for Ipswich Town fans to get involved with a new book about the football club that is due to come out for Christmas.
Ipswich 'Til I Die is set to be published by Ipswich Town Independent Supporters Trust (Ipswich Town 1st), in partnership with the National Literacy Trust, Supporters Direct and Ipswich Town.
The book is set to lift the lid on memories and experiences of supporters both young and old, reflecting the fans who give the permanent character to a club like Ipswich.
It will reveal the funny, the absurd, the emotional, the peculiar and unbelievable that is part and parcel of following Ipswich.
The publishers are calling for as many Ipswich Town supporters as possible to provide their stories before the October 31 deadline.
Profits from the book will go towards the Ipswich Town Community Trust.

A total of 600 free copies of Ipswich 'Til I Die will be distributed to local schools, libraries and community groups, strengthening the club's links with the local community, and encouraging new generations of Ipswich fans.
Fans are asked to e-mail 200 to 300 word stories to david@legendspublishing.net, post them to 18 Darby Crescent, Sunbury-on-Thames, TW16 5LA or telephone Steve on 07906 802432 to discuss a possible story.
