A 30-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of drink driving after his BMW estate 525-D crashed into two other cars, a moped and a garden wall in Ipswich this afternoon.
A Toyota Avensis, a VW Polo Twist and a moped were also involved in the collision, which happened at the Stradbroke Road junction of Sidegate Lane at around 3pm.
There were no injuries reported but the garden wall and some of the vehicles were damaged.
A police spokesman said: “We were called to the scene of an accident in Sidegate Lane, Ipswich this afternoon.
“At first it was unclear how many vehicles were involved, but we now know that a BMW driver crashed into three other vehicles and a garden wall at the scene. The man, who is 30, was arrested on suspicion of drink driving.”
