A BMW driver involved in a collision in Foxhall Road, Ipswich, which left a young woman seriously injured has come forward following media appeals, police have said.
Police appealed for information following the incident near Chilton Road at around 5.15pm on Tuesday last week in which the teenager was originally said to have sustained serious injuries, including a broken arm.
Anne-Marie Breach, a spokeswoman for Suffolk Constabulary, said officers received several calls including one from the driver involved and police are now in contact with him regarding what happened.
He is due to be formally interviewed about the collision in the coming days.
Officers would like to thank those who got in touch but would still like to hear from anyone who may have seen the incident.
