Traffic officers from the Norfolk and Suffolk Roads and Armed Policing Team Tweeted that they had seen the motorcyclist performing the stunts in Norwich Road, Ipswich on Saturday, September 15.

They gave the rider a Traffic Offence Report (TOR), which is given to people who commit minor traffic offences.

After Tweeting a picture of the vehicle they had seized, they Tweeted: “#RCRT saw this motorcyclist pulling several wheelies on Norwich Road #Ipswich today so stopped, advised and issued with a TOR.”

Under section 163 of the Road Traffic Act 1988, police have the power to stop a vehicle at any time and they do not need to give a reason. Failing to stop is a criminal offence.

Those given TORs can end up with a one-off fine or have the matter sent to court for a hearing.
