TWO people were led to safety after flames took hold of a boat sailing on a river in Essex.Thames Coastguard, RNLI Burnham lifeboats, Bradwell Coastguard and an Essex fire crew were called to the River Crouch at 6.26am.
TWO people were led to safety after flames took hold of a boat sailing on a river in Essex.
Thames Coastguard, RNLI Burnham lifeboats, Bradwell Coastguard and an Essex fire crew were called at 6.26pm yesterday after fire took hold on a 110ft boat called Portisham on the River Crouch.
Two people were taken ashore to a waiting ambulance where one was treated by paramedics.
The boat was made safe and secure by the crews involved.
