THE body of a man found in a water field ditch at Westleton is thought to be that of 74-year-old Thomas Rumens
The body was found fully clothed, but badly decomposed, on the Minsmere RSPB reserve just before 11 am today.
Efforts are being made to identify the man, but police believe it may be Mr Rumens who went missing from a Knodishall nursing home in 2001.
The death is not thought to be suspicious at this stage. However, the body has been taken to Ipswich Hospital where a post mortem will be carried out.
