POLICE have confirmed that the body found on a Lowestoft beach was that of missing Norfolk woman Susan Atkins.Results from a post-mortem carried out today found that the 51-year-old had drowned but further tests are to be carried out.
POLICE have confirmed that the body found on a Lowestoft beach was that of missing Norfolk woman Susan Atkins.
Results from a post-mortem carried out today found that the 51-year-old had drowned but further tests are to be carried out.
Her death is no longer being treated by police as suspicious and investigations are being carried out on behalf of the coroner. An inquest will also be held.
Suffolk police are appealing for anyone who saw Mrs Atkins in the Lowestoft sea front area from 8.45pm on Thursday February 13 to contact them on 01473 613500.
