POLICE have appealed for help in identifying a young man whose body was pulled out of the River Orwell in Ipswich.The man, thought to be aged in his late teens, was discovered floating in the water by a passer by at low tide at 3pm yesterday.
POLICE have appealed for help in identifying a young man whose body was pulled out of the River Orwell in Ipswich.
The man, thought to be aged in his late teens, was discovered floating in the water by a passer by at low tide at 3pm yesterday. His body was found 200 metres east of the Princes Street bridge, behind Gipping Court.
Suffolk Police described the man as about 5ft 8ins tall, of slim build and with short dark hair.
He was wearing a grey T-shirt with a "Le Shark" motif, blue jeans, white trainers and white sport socks.
The coroner has been informed and a post-mortem examination is due to take place, but police believe at this stage there are no suspicious circumstances to the man's death.
