Police were called to Cemetery Road at around 5.10pm yesterday, Tuesday February 27, after receiving reports concerning the safety of a man.

A spokeswoman for Suffolk police confirmed that on arrival officers found the body of a man, believed to be in his 40s, in a vehicle.

A police cordon was put in place while officers carried out investigations.

The spokeswoman added: “The death is currently being treated as unexplained but is not believed to be suspicious at this time.”

She said a file for the coroner would be prepared in due course.
