BOGUS caller alert

POLICE have warned people to be vigilant after a possible bogus caller visited a house in Ipswich.

The man arrived at a house in Shenstone Drive, at about noon on Wednesday, and claimed he had to install a boiler in an upstairs flat, and needed access to the householders kitchen.

The man arrived at a house in Shenstone Drive, at about noon on Wednesday, and claimed he had to install a boiler in an upstairs flat, and needed access to the householders kitchen.

She stayed with him all the time so he had no opportunity to take anything.

But she was concerned, and police would like to speak to him, to be sure he was genuine.

He was tall, with dark hair, and was wearing a pullover.
