PEOPLE are warned to be on their guard after a man posing as a water board official called at an elderly woman's home.The con man claimed to be investigating a burst pipe and was refused entry to the property in Greene Road, Bury St Edmunds.

PEOPLE are warned to be on their guard after a man posing as a water board official called at an elderly woman's home.
The conman claimed to be investigating a burst pipe and was refused entry to the property in Greene Road, Bury St Edmunds. He left in the direction of the Woodley Road just before 11am yesterday .
He is quite tall, of slim build and was wearing a brown suit.
