A MAN has appeared in court accused of robbing a town centre bookmakers.
Jamie McCleary, of Geneva Road, Ipswich, appeared in custody at South East Magistrates' Court yesterday to hear the charge.
The 22-year-old entered no plea in relation to a robbery at Ladbrokes, in Carr Street, around 5.10pm on Tuesday.
McCleary was remanded in custody and is due to appear at Ipswich Crown Court on Tuesday, January 26.
