IPSWICH'S 27th beer festival got under way today with thousands of pints expected to be downed during the event four-day.
IPSWICH'S 27th beer festival got under way today with thousands of pints expected to be downed during the event four-day.
The ale extravaganza, staged at the Corn Exchange, has a Darwin theme this year, celebrating 200 years of beer with a animal, bird or reptile connection.
There is also a selection of German and Belgian beers while drinkers can also enjoy several ciders.
The festival continues until 11pm tonight, and will then open between 11am and 11pm on Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
Admission ranges from �1 to �5, depending on when visitors arrive.
