A TEACHING union today warned yob culture must be stopped after an out-of-control 11-year-old threw a brick at an Ipswich headteacher.
Thurleston High School head Mike Everett was met with a stream of physical threats and foul-mouthed abuse when he confronted the child, who was trying to attack one of his pupils.
Prosecuting, David Taylor told magistrates sitting in Ipswich that the lout's intended target escaped when Mr Everett shouted at him to run away.

Despite his age and appearance, it was not his first visit to the courts – he was already on an official final warning after previous offences.
