The attack happened near Wilkinson's in Ipswich


A 17-year-old boy sustained a cut to his lip when he was punched in the face in a street attack on Friday afternoon.

Police are appealing for witnesses to the assault, which happened in the alleyway running along St Stephens Church Lane to Wilkinson’s in Ipswich town centre between 2pm and 2.45pm on Friday.

The offender is described as a white man, aged in his 30s and was wearing a black hooded top, blue jeans, black Nike trainers and a red balaclava.
