Boy in hospital after accident

A TEN-year-old boy was taken to hospital this morning after he was in collision with a car.The accident happened in The Street, Charsfield, near Wickham Market, at around 8.

A TEN-year-old boy was taken to hospital this morning after he was in collision with a car.

The accident happened in The Street, Charsfield, near Wickham Market, at around 8.45am.

Police and ambulance crews were called and the boy was taken to Ipswich Hospital for treatment although his injuries were not believed to be serious. The road remained closed for just under two hours.

A man was taken to hospital after a smash involving a van and a lorry near Monks Eleigh today (Tuesday). The accident happened at around 8.29am when a lorry and a Peugeot van collided on the A1141. The van driver was taken to hospital for treatment to head injuries.
