Boy taken to hospital after bus scrape

A NINE-year-old boy was taken to hospital today following a collision with a bus in Suffolk.The accident happened in Blyburgate, Beccles, at shortly before 11am.

A NINE-year-old boy was taken to hospital today following a collision with a bus in Suffolk.

The accident happened in Blyburgate, Beccles, at shortly before 11am.

Ambulance, police and the East Anglian Air Ambulance attended the scene.

The boy was not seriously injured and was take to the James Paget Hospital for treatment to a cut head.

A Suffolk police spokesperson said the boy had been walking into the town with his family when the collision with the bus, which was travelling in the same direction, happened.

It is not yet clear exactly how the collision happened.
