Boy taken to hospital after collision in Trimley St Martin

A child sustained head and leg injuries and was taken to hospital after a collision involving a car in Trimley St Martin this morning.
A Citroen C3 and a pedestrian, an 11-year-old boy, were involved in a collision in High Road, at the St Martins Green junction, at around 8.30am, a Suffolk Constabulary spokesman said.
Police and an ambulance were called to the scene.
The boy was treated for minor injuries and taken to Ipswich Hospital to be checked over.
The road was partially blocked until 9.15am.
No arrests were made at the scene.
An East of England Ambulance Service Trust spokesman said: “We were called at just before 8.30am to this. An ambulance crew attended to a boy who was reported to have suffered head and leg injuries.
“He was treated at the scene and was taken to Ipswich Hospital with what have been described as minor injuries.”
