PLACES are still available for anyone who wants to throw themselves off the top of Ipswich Hospital in the name of charity.

Already there are over 1,000 people booked in to take part in the eighth annual Ipswich Hospital Charity Abseil, on July 5 and 6, at the Heath Road hospital.

Volunteers aged from 12 to 87 have so far put themselves forward to raise money for more than 100 charities and good causes.

The seven annual events so far have raised in excess of £640,000 to help people.

Participants select the charity of their choice making it an ideal way for the many local, regional and national fundraising groups represented to raise much needed fund.

All sponsorship money is sent by the participants direct to the charity they have chosen to support.

For more information on this year's event, which takes place from 8am to 5pm on both days, or other fundraising events telephone 01473 785500 or email info@mega-uk.com.
