GREAT Yarmouth town centre in Norfolk was in chaos this morning after the Breydon Bridge broke down in the open position.The bridge, which carries the relief road to the town centre, would not shut after opening for a vessel to pass underneath.
GREAT Yarmouth town centre in Norfolk was in chaos this morning after the Breydon Bridge broke down in the open position.
The bridge, which carries the relief road to the town centre, would not shut after opening for a vessel to pass underneath.
Engineers were on site and were hoping to fix the problem by lunchtime.
In the meantime all traffic was being diverted over the Haven Bridge into the town centre.
