A BROKEN rail on the Ipswich to Felixstowe train line caused cancellations and delays to services this morning.
Services before 6.40am were cancelled until the track was temporarily repaired.
A backlog of freight trains meant the Anglia Railways service suffered delays throughout the morning.
A spokesperson for Anglia said that the damaged track between Derby Road and Trimley had been made safe and that other work would probably need to be undertaken to make the repairs permanent.
