IPSWICH: A burglar contacted police to own up to a string of offences because he wanted to make a clean start when he was released from prison, a court has heard.
Lamar Boyden, 20, subsequently pleaded guilty to four offences of burglary and asked for 35 offences to be taken into consideration, Ipswich Crown Court was told.
Of these, eight were dwelling house burglaries, 15 were burglaries of shops and other commercial premises and the rest involved theft of and from cars.
