Bury St Edmunds-based property company Pigeon has funded the work of EACH’s Treehouse hospice in Ipswich for a day as part of its support for the charity.

It costs the charity £5,300 a day to deliver its service in the county and Pigeon managed to raise that amount through taking part in the town’s Colour Dash last year and other events.

Richard Stanton, Director of Pigeon, said: “Pigeon Investment Management has been delighted to support such a highly deserving local charity, which is working very hard to help so many children and their families during incredibly difficult times.

Vicky Matthews from EACH said: “We need to bring in more than £5 million from fundraising every year so we really can’t emphasise enough how much this kind of help is appreciated.

“A big thank you to everyone at Pigeon for their efforts and we look forward to continuing our relationship into the future.”
