A lorry struck a railway bridge in Trimley earlier today.

Passengers were informed of the issue via the Greater Anglia Twitter feed with the company’s website listing two services on the line to Felixstowe as having to be replaced by buses as a result.

Those were the 11.58am Ipswich to Felixstowe and 12.28 Felixstowe to Ipswich services.
