Staff and regulars from The Greyhound pub in Ipswich took part in a golf day at Hintlesham Golf Club, for an important charity.
This first event was held to raise money for the Support Dogs UK charity, and a total of £408 was raised.
Landlord Dan Lightfoot said he hoped it would become an regular event.
He said: “I am thrilled by the interest in this golf day and hope it can become an annual event. Support Dogs do such great work, I’m pleased we have been able to raise much needed funds to help.”
Support Dogs UK trains dogs to be of assistance to a wide variety of clients, who all need help. There are autism assistance dogs, disability assistance dogs and seizure alert dogs, for example,
The charity works helping people across England, Scotland and Wales.
On the golf day the best individual score was Chris Mallet and the top team consisted of Tom Munday, Jordan Last, Dan Sheridan and Chris Mallet.
