IPSWICH: Guests gathered on the roof top of the new for the official topping out of the new care home this week (October 17).
Building work by Ipswich-based R G Carter on behalf of First Care Homes started in January of this year on Park View Care Home in the town’s London Road.
The completion date for the building should be March 2012 with the first residents arriving at the state-of-the-art new home in Spring.
First Care Homes is being established by the Jeffery family, who created the award-winning Caring Homes Group which now runs over 120 services across the UK.
In total, there will be 61 rooms providing nursing, residential and dementia care.
