Ipswich Town are launching a temporary Planet Blue shop in the run up to Christmas, taking over the former Toni & Guy unit in the Buttermarket.

Commercial agents Beane Wass and Box said a temporary letting had been agreed with Ipswich Town for 50 Buttermarket, in the centre of town.

Toni & Guy have vacated the premises and are relocating further along the road,

The main Planet Blue shop within the Portman Road stadium will remain open.

Richard Bertram, of Beane Wass and Box, said: “We were pleased to be able to arrange the letting of this prime town centre shop to Ipswich Town Football Club for Christmas trading purposes.”

The agent said the entire property, with substantial space on the upper floors, remains available for a long term letting.

The property extends to 915 sq ft on the ground floor.

With the additional space it would make an ideal headquarters for a charity or an administration base, added agent Richard Bertram.
