Businessman Ken Hewitt, who is well known in the antiques trade, has opened a new centre for antiques, vintage and retro furniture and collectables.
Manningtree Emporium, at 1516 Jubilee End, is home to more than 20 antiques and vintage dealers selling a wide range of items, from furniture to furnishings, lighting to industrial, rustic and everything in between.
It will be open six days a week, Tuesday to Sunday, 10am to 5pm, and 10am to 4pm on Mondays.
Mr Hewitt said: “Having sold at the Manningtree vintage market since it started last year, I know the people of Colchester, Manningtree and Ipswich and the surrounding areas love browsing and buying antiques and vintage items.
“I have been looking for new premises for a while and this location is ideal.”
