A new business networking session is starting up for small and micro business owners who might normally shy away from networking because they worry they’ll be expected to give a presentation, or find walking into a room of strangers daunting.

MENTA’s Coffee Means Business at Baythorne Hall near Sudbury and Clare is for those who prefer to make new contacts whilst chatting over a cuppa. Leanne Castle of MENTA said: “My role is to ensure those who attend are linked up with like-minded people and to encourage a relaxed, chilled atmosphere where everyone can make the very most of the networking opportunities.”

On July 5, the invited speaker, Sarah Waterson of Hunnaball Family Funeral Group’s Colchester office, will discuss what makes great customer service. There are no membership fees, just £5 on arrival.
