St Peter’s Without, launched by St Peter’s Brewery, based near Bungay, in August last year, will be available within the new section being introduced at Tesco stores nationwide from Wednesday, March 29.

Steve Magnall, chief executive at St Peter’s, said: “We have long recognised the growing demand for alcohol-free options amongst consumers.

“Tighter regulations and health concerns, as well as an increase in the teetotal population are changing the drink sector and we feel this is a category that will grow and grow in the years to come.

“The response to Without has been excellent and it is fantastic that Tesco has not only recognised its quality, but that it has also seen the importance of this growing sector. It’s certainly an exciting time for us and the category as a whole.”

Earlier this month St Peter’s, which takes its name from its home at St Peter’s Hall in South Elmham St Peter’s, announced a deal to supply Without to 93 East of England Co-op stores in Norfolk, Suffolk and north Essex.

It has also secured deals with other retailers including Oddbins, Majestic, Nisa and Wholefoods Market and with pub operators including JD Wetherspoon.
