A new networking meeting launching in North Suffolk next week will offer local businesses tips on making better use of video marketing.

The first meeting of the group, which is being established by the Federation of Small Businesses (FSB), will take place on Thursday 21 June at Brome Grange, just off the A140, between 7-8.45am.

The event will feature networking activities over breakfast that aim to help attendees to develop their local contacts. FSB representatives will also deliver an update on national and regional business news.

A presentation will be delivered by Penny Morgan Photography and Marley Bird Communications on the growing importance of video marketing as part of a successful marketing strategy. They will offer some expert insights into “what you should say” and “how you should say it.”

Tickets for the meeting are on general sale and can be booked through Eventbrite.

FSB, which has around 2,500 members across Suffolk, will subsequently run networking events at the venue on a bi-monthly basis, alongside its existing event at the Ipswich Hotel in Copdock.

FSB East Anglia Area Lead David Howell said: “Our research showed that businesses in the area wanted more opportunities to build up their connections and we are responding to that need. The event will provide some informal networking activities, as well as helping attendees to ensure they are keeping pace with important business issues.”

FSB offers its 165,000 members a wide range of vital business services including advice, financial expertise, support and a voice in government to help smaller businesses achieve their ambitions.
