A WOMAN killed in a road accident in Cambridgeshire has been named today.

A WOMAN killed in a road accident in Cambridgeshire has been named today.

Catherine Evans, 70, of Park View, Great Stukeley died yesterday.

The pedestrian was in Ermine Street, Great Stukeley, close to the junction with Church Road, when she was in an accident with a blue Toyota Corolla.

She was taken to Addenbrooke's Hospital in Cambridgeshire where she died later.

The driver of the Toyota, a 23-year-old man from Huntingdon and a 22-year-old female passenger, also from Huntingdon, suffered minor injuries.

A three-year-old girl who was also in the car was uninjured.
