A woman left a department store without paying for several items she had scanned into a till with help from staff, police said.
The theft is alleged to have happened at John Lewis in Ransomes Way between 4pm and 4.30pm on Monday, December 8.
The woman accused is said to have left with kitchen and homeware items she had not paid for.
She is described as white, in her 60s, about 5ft 7in tall, slim, with blonde coloured hair. She was wearing dark jeans, a black jacket, grey jumper and leopard print scarf.
Police are appealing for help identifying the woman in the CCTV image.
