POLICE have uncovered a cannabis factory at a house in King's Lynn containing hundreds of plants with an estimated street value of £50,000.

POLICE have uncovered a cannabis factory at a house in King's Lynn containing hundreds of plants with an estimated street value of £50,000.

Acting on intelligence, officers from the King's Lynn Tactical Crime Unit, raided the detached house in Gaywood Road yesterday.

A 35-year-old man was arrested by police at the scene on suspicion of being concerned in the production of cannabis.

The warrant has uncovered in the region of 400 cannabis plants being grown in rooms throughout the house, along with hydroponic equipment used for growing the plants.
