Police are at the scene of a crash involving a car and a bus in Ipswich town centre this afternoon.
Emergency crews were called to Great Colman Street at around 11.20am to reports of a collision involving a car and a First Eastern Counties bus.
No-one is believed to have been hurt in the crash but the car is badly damaged, a police spokeswoman said.
She added: “It’s not thought that anyone has been injured but the car has suffered some damage.
“Our officers are still at the scene carrying out some investigations and arranging recovery for the vehicles.
“It doesn’t appear to be causing disruption for traffic.”
Eight passengers were on the bus at the time and no-one was hurt, representatives from First Eastern Counties said.
They added: “We can confirm that one of our vehicles, a single decker bus, was involved in a crash in Ipswich this morning.
“Eight passengers were on board but no-one was injured.
“A full investigation has been carried out.”
