Car blaze after vehicle dumped

THIS car was left as a burnt out shell today after a blaze in the early hours of this morning.

Fire fighters had to wear breathing apparatus when controlling the fire which was thought to have been dumped by youths near garages at Cobham Road, Ipswich, last night.

Fire fighters had to wear breathing apparatus when controlling the fire which was thought to have been dumped by youths near garages at Cobham Road, Ipswich, last night.

One fire crew from Ipswich headquarters was called to the fire at 2.18am near houses in Rydal Walk.

A resident who lived nearby said he had seen a group of teenagers leave the car at Cobham Road last night. He said that police had spoken to the group and left but hours later the car was well alight.
