Firefighters put out a car which had been deliberate set alight in the early hours of this morning.

One crew from the Princes Street Ipswich Fire Station attended the scene in Hawke Road, close to Sandyhill Lane, at 3.15am.

The firefighters extinguished a single car which was ablaze.

The crew had the incident under control by 3.33am, by using one hose reel.

It is believed the fire was started deliberately, and Suffolk Constabulary has been informed of the incident.
