A WOMAN was injured after a car she was in collided with a lamppost near Stowmarket.The accident happened on the A1308 Needham Road at about 1.17pm today.

A spokeswoman for the ambulance service said the woman was conscious and breathing but was taken to Ipswich Hospital for treatment.
