SUFFOLK: A person was taken to hospital after a car crashed and ended up in a ditch on the A12.
The incident happened between Thorington and Darsham at around 12.56pm today.
A Ford Mondeo hit a concrete post near Darsham railway station before crashing into a ditch.
Ambulance, police and fire crews attended the scene and part of the A12 was closed for over an hour following the crash.
One person was taken to the James Paget Hospital with non life threatening injuries.
