A car has ended up on its roof after a crash on the A137 at Wherstead near Ipswich.

Police were called today at around 7.10am to reports a car had rolled onto its roof.

A spokesman for Suffolk police said a woman was ‘badly shaken up’ as a result of the crash and that an ambulance was on its way to the scene.

He said: “There is a single vehicle on its roof.

“A female is badly shaken up and needing ambulance assistance.”

The spokesman later confirmed the woman escaped uninjured but has been taken to Ipswich Hospital to make sure.
