FIREFIGHTERS were today able to extinguish a stolen car blaze a before it could do any serious damage to the vehicle.

Crews from Princes Street were called shortly before 1am to reports of a car fire in Fairfield Road.
They arrived to find a small fire in the passenger side of a car which police believe was stolen.
The flames were under control by 1.15am.
