POLICE are investigating a car blaze in Ipswich that is being treated as a suspected arson.Flames took hold of a vehicle parked in Lavenham Road, Chantry, at about 7.19pm yesterday.

Flames took hold of a vehicle parked in Lavenham Road, Chantry, at about 7.19pm yesterday.

Firefighters used a single hose reel to control the flames by 7.46pm.

A spokesman for Suffolk police said the cause of the fire is being treated as deliberate.
