Fourteen fire crews are tackling a large thatched roof fire in Elmswell.
Fire crews were called to a car which was found to be “well alight” in New Quay Lane, Melton, this afternoon.
One crew from Woodbridge attended and, wearing breathing apparatus, used two hosereels to extinguish the fire.
The incident had been brought under control by 12.52pm and were back at base by 1.15pm.
