THREE men have been taken to hospital this morning following a serious crash on the A120 near Weeley.
The ambulance service was called just before 9.30am to the scene where a car towing a trailer had flipped over and gone up an embankment.
Clinical operations manager John Nicholls said: “We assessed and treated three men at the scene.
“One had neck pain and one had lower back pain.
“Both patients were immobilised to protect their spine. The third man had no apparent injury, but was shaken up by what had happened.”
All three men were taken by ambulance to Colchester General Hospital for further care.
