Car hits barrier on A12

EMERGENCY services have been called to the A12 near Capel St Mary after a car collided with the central reservation barrier.The accident, which involved a blue Toyota Avensis, happened on the northbound carriageway at about 1.40pm today.

Police and a paramedic were called to the scene although nobody is believed to have been seriously injured.
A police spokeswoman said traffic was still moving at the scene of the crash.
