THREE people had to be helped to safety after their car left the road and ended up dangling over a 5ft drop.
Fire crews were called to Bodsey Toll Road in Ramsey, Cambridgeshire, and found the car in a precarious position.
The driver and passengers were not trapped but had been able to climb free of the unstable vehicle.
Firefighters from Ramsey and Huntingdon helped the occupants to safety at around 6am today.
