A CAR left the A12 and struck a power cable today, causing a temporary power cut.

The accident took place near to junction 50 at Stratford St Mary at around 12.55am and involved a blue Renault Clio.
When police and ambulance crews arrived on scene, the driver of the vehicle was not found, despite a search using a helicopter.
The A12 was temporarily blocked.
