Caravan blaze hits Shotley

FIRE crews were called to Shotley Gate caravan park after reports that a caravan was on fire.The fire started at around 12.10pm today and a witness at the scene told the Evening Star that at least three caravans had caught fire as the blaze spread.

The fire started at around 12.10pm today and a witness at the scene told the Evening Star that at least three caravans had caught fire as the blaze spread.

It is believed that the caravans were being stored at the park in Gate Farm Road, and no-one was living in them.

A fire crew from Holbrook was sent to the scene.
