COMMUTERS in Ipswich were caught up in tailbacks this afternoon after a caravan caught fire on the A14.
The caravan, attached to a car, was in a layby on the Bury bound carriageway near Nacton and was reported to be on fire at 3.25pm.
Both lanes of the A14 were closed for a short time, while fire-crews dealt with the blaze and cooled two LPG gas cylinders inside the caravan.
